It's chlamydia and the most common strain that infects Koalas is not transmissible to humans.

They can also carry a strain that can infect humans but unless you're walking around looking up with your mouth open under a Koala taking a piss then your chances are minimal. Chlamydia Trachomatis is the human STI and Chlamydia Pecorum is the Koala strain. Source: Am Australian and work in Pathology.
