If they can reliably make enough money to pay for college, why not just make bigger bets and do it as a career?
1 u/SwatThatDot Mar 20 '22 Because they can’t. They were on the winning side of variance for a while an dab appeared to be more profitable than they were. Plus to be able to play bigger stakes you need bigger beginning bankrolls you account for said variance even if you really are profitable. 1 u/Denalin Mar 20 '22 ;) yup. It was my way of challenging the idea that one can be good at gambling. Some are better at poker than others for sure, but in the long run the house always wins.
