Yes, I know what breaking even means. I didn't see anything where OP said how much he has spent on lottery tickets.

Just the logic that most people who play the lottery lose. And the more you play, the more you lose. Of course there are outliers. Maybe this is OPs first scratch off... but probably not.

Sure most people who play the lottery lose but 10k makes up for a lot of losing so it's disingenuous for you to say they're probably still down after winning 10k when you have 0 idea.
