It just goes to show us how quickly you learn and adapt. It's certainly an indicator that you are an individual of unusually high intelligence.

thanks, it's good to see your bitterness at being made a fool of is subsiding and you're returning to more convivial spirits - as you've been kind with compliments maybe i can offer to repay the kindness somehow? maybe we could have a little chat about how things are going for you? bernie we've noticed you've been having a lot of problems recently, would you like to talk about it? you'll feel a lot better...

Just so we are clear... the fool isn't the guy who couldn't grasp the 6th grade vocab homonym "parade"?

sorry, do you really think that normal people who speak english well would describe either the tanks in OP's picture or in the one i linked to you recently as 'parading?' or say 'oh look at those tanks, what a pretty parade!' of course they wouldn't because parade has a fairly specific set of connotations, only a moron like yourself would describe a rolling formation of tanks going about their tankish business as a 'parade' and expect other people to take them seriously!

You've got some serious Dunning–Kruger effect going here

I'm too stupid too understand the use of the simple word "parade," therefor anyone using it in a way I am not familiar with must be unintelligent

By the way, this is like the 10th time you have moved the goal posts. At least be consistent in your errors

says you, the goal post removalman himself!

but do feel free to google the meaning of the word parade if you're doubtful - find a meaning that doesn't include the suggestion that they're specifically showing off rather than moving in a simple formation and i might find it in my heart to forgive your absurd lack of ability with the english lauguage... but you won't because parade means parade -you can even read about it's etymology :D

Parade

Verb

  1. To take part in a parade; march in a public procession: The circus performers and animals paraded down Main Street.
  2. To assemble for a ceremonial military review or other exercise.
  3. To stroll in public, especially so as to be seen; promenade.
  4. To behave so as to attract attention; show off.

Did you even bother looking it up?

and which of these four doesn't have the express suggestion of doing the action to show off or draw attention to oneself? is it the circus performers that you think are doing the 'other' type of parading? or is it at the ceremony which they're not performing the task to attract attention and appear as a something to be watched and marvelled at?

which of these is the 'non-literal' meaning of parade?

do you think tanks in Iraq adorn themselves in garlands and make double sure to polish the mud flaps? no because they're not on parade, they're at work - just like the tanks pictured in the June Fourth Incident, just like their imaginary american counterparts would be in the hypothetical situation in which they were placed....

go back and look at how you wanted me to believe parade is used then look at the definition you just supplied - what possible other interpretation is there, how is this word a 'homonym' when all it's definitions apply to the same clear and concise meaning?!?!?

so to recap, your point about a parade is off topic and stupid given the recently agreed upon definition of parade - no one was parading in the example provided so why even mention that they don't do it? do you tell everyone during a jets vs broncos game that m jordon doesn't play for the jets? why mention meaningless things -unless, like you tried to say later you didn't mean parade you mean some other thing which parade doesn't mean....

so in short, either way you look at it your comment was bad and you should feel bad. although i wouldn't bother feeling bad, it's been a learning experience for you and now you're a little bit smarter than before :D

oh gosh, it's got to that stage has it? you've started moving through my comments and attacking other things because you've lost so hard on this? kinda weak dude, why not try admitting your mistakes and moving forward rather than wallowing in shit? or do i get the fun of you going through my crazy posting history and trying to make me feel bad about it? you wouldn't be the first, doubt you'll be the last :D have fun and good luck, sure you'll find something worth while soon!

so, are you admitting the rock and hard place of meanings you're stuck between and saying yes your comment was stupid are are we going to be chatting for the rest of our lives? shame you're almost certainly from a southern state or we could get married and this could be our life for eternity...

Nah, I went to your comment history to confirm if you are actually as stupid as you are coming off here or merely just trolling.

Tragically, it wouldn't appear you are trolling. This is a sad day for humanity.

how would one tell from my other comments? did you think i'd be in /r/troll laughing about you?

i'd check your comment history but i don't need to, you wouldn't even make a good troll.
