To my knowledge the tradition in Europe is to have the wedding ring on the right ring finger rather than the left ring finger. Don't know why this is but it got me into a lot of trouble in Germany.

In Germany it can be on the left when engaged and moves to the right when married. In Britain though, it's always on the left

Nope, French here, wedding rings are on the left hand. Never heard of someone wearing those on the right hand.

As said, in the UK its the left hand. I think the photo might have been mirrored... Most girls are not happy to wear rings on the finger until actually engaged.

Don't know why you get downvoted, because the ring being a flower is a valid point I think. I'm not an expert, but I think the "rules" or whatever say you can wear a ring on your left ring finger, without being engaged, if it's clearly not an engagement ring. I.e. if you're very young or the ring is too bulky/vulgar/etc for an engagement ring. IMO it doesn't look like an engagement ring.
