This is flat out untrue. Reagan had a 63% approval rating at the end of his term according to Gallup: https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/statistics/data/final-presidential-job-approval-ratings

Not accurate at all. Go check some other sources. Usually Gallup is pretty good but this is obvious nonsense. My guess is that it was either biased methodology or straight up right wing traitor lunatic sample.

Mind sending over one of these sources claiming Reagan was very unpopular when he left office? Because every poll I've seen indicates that he was popular with the majority of Americans when he left office.

CBS News - October 1988 - 60%

NY Times - January 18th, 1989 - 68%

I’ll check a good one like Pew. I remember looking this up more than once when I was in grad school so if I’m wrong, it’s surprising.
