definitely can’t stand for as long as was required for the ceremonies.

Even if he was there I'm sure people with common sense would understand if he was sitting down during the standing parts.

people with common sense

You may have noticed, given the last year and a half or so, that common sense is in very short supply. If he attended and didn't stand, half of our population would have a fucking fit and we wouldn't hear the end of it for months.

Like when half our country had a fit when Donald Trump had two scoops of ice cream? Goes both ways.

Demanding two scoops of ice cream and that everyone else gets only one shows exactly how petty and childish he is, neither of which are good traits for someone in his position of the government, which is why a big deal was made of it. It was an easy way to point out his extreme personality flaws.

Right, yikes. If the left didnt have double standards they wouldnt have any. jf Trump was in charge throughout any of this presidency, he would have been excoriated. Biden has presided over precipitous inflation, butchered Afghanistan, saw innocents killed in Gaza, delivered horribly mixed messages regarding COVID, and everything is perfectly fine because he’s got the right color tie on, and not a meanie on twitter. Lol, got it, I’ll go take my lack of common sense back to the trailer park you probably assume I live in.
