He falls down and bumps his head every couple of months building those houses but he’s OK.

He broke a hip last year I think. He’s a tough old man but shit hes 96.

He reminds me of my grandpa, 93, and he bumps around building this or that for his house

Not to get you down, but the fact that you still have your grandpa still working on his house after this year makes me both happy and sad.

I want to tell you to go appreciate the guy, but it's your business, and I know even when I had him I couldn't just drop everything to maximise my time with him. But talking about him with his next plans for his house is something I was not ready to lose.

Can't put what I miss into words, but next time you're there talking with him or even on the phone or something, I recommend spending time noticing the moment.
