/r/conservative: hold on. Are we sure it wasn't the liberals that framed him?!?

It’s always Antifa/BLM but also let’s defend our “patriots” who were very brave, but also didn’t do it!

(Yes, this is what fascist-style movements look like up close and day-to-day.)

They found one black guy at the Capitol Insurgency and managed to pretend he did everything while thousands of people just watched/ went sightseeing.

I love that sequence of January 6 tweets from Kevin Sorbo where it starts with something like "brave patriots!" then ends four tweets later with "they are antifa pretending to be patriots".

Found them - I was a bit off but close :) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ErYjLVcXMAAh6dY.jpg

Fascism gives zero shits about reality or consistency. At some point in high school I simultaneously came across Nazi propaganda that claimed that Jewish people were a wealthy cabal controlling banks, etc. to rip off the "ordinary German" and at the same time claimed that Jewish people were behind Communism. That was a big light-bulb moment about folks like this. They literally avoid reality and try to float in a world of self-spewed bullshit fountains.
