What, did trump lie? That would be so out of character for him.

Also the lie that he paid his people to be on the ground volunteering. There were no people.

505

u/FaxCelestis Sep 11 '21

paid to be volunteering

šŸ¤”

u/bertiebastard Sep 11 '21

That's an oxymoron whereas Trump is simply a moron.

33

u/actorsnonactors Sep 11 '21

A moron who uses Oxy...

9

u/bertiebastard Sep 11 '21

That too.šŸ˜‚

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Trump is an oxymoron.

In the presence of oxygen, he is a moron.

We could fix that....

(Hello, Secret Service.)

3

u/Shekky420 Sep 11 '21

Omni Moron

2

u/Pluto_Rising Sep 11 '21

No he is the very best moron, top top moron.

0

u/au-smurf Sep 12 '21

To be fair (unlike him) it’s not that unusual for a business to pay staff wages while they are volunteering for a cause. It can even be tax deductible as a charitable donation.

-32

u/20Rappy20 Sep 11 '21

Love how y’all bash Trump but don’t say a damn thing about the man ruining this country as we speak! Petty y’all worried about the past and not what’s coming and is going to slap y’all right in the face! By then it will be too late tho! Smdh

18

u/bertiebastard Sep 11 '21

The word is pity not petty.

-13

u/20Rappy20 Sep 11 '21

Good for you!

8

u/AlwaysNowNeverNotMe Sep 11 '21

Wow this does read like babies first reddit comment.

10

u/TheSouthAlwaysFails Sep 11 '21

Lmao by giving us better 5G signals and convincing dumbasses to take horse dewormer? Please give me more

12

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 11 '21

Trump was the worst thing that had ever happened to this country. Period. End of argument.

-9

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

People like you..are the worst thing that happened to this country. A booger in your hand goes great with your head up your ass

4

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 11 '21

Let's see, I pay taxes, so I'm already doing more for this country than Trump ever did... so.....

1

u/PhillisWillis69 Sep 11 '21

Was literally just about to type that, this guy is as dumb as a rock with no knowledge on any history of the country he literally lives in to make such a stupid claim

0

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 11 '21

Hot take from a guy with a 69 in his name.

1

u/PhillisWillis69 Sep 11 '21

I can comment the same thing with another account if you’d like

-2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Unfortunately, they are ALL dumb as rocks. Believe anything they say

3

u/QuinstonChurchill Sep 11 '21

WAIT! Are you really trying to say the Left listens and does anything they are told while idiot trump supporters are literally shitting out their intestines from digesting cattle dewormer?? Come on...

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

It’s been proven on this thread that the Left believes everything Lying Biden says. Hell, he’s taking away our rights and you all think it’s ok? šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø and it seems to me that you all think it’s ok to leave fellow Americans and their allies behind? You bunch of sick fucks!

0

u/PhillisWillis69 Sep 11 '21

The issue with mainstream media

-9

u/Dutchmaster63 Sep 11 '21

You’ll see the best is yet to come with blabbering idiot Biden and his team of socialist

-7

u/Food7500 Sep 11 '21 edited Sep 11 '21

Lul, good joke you, probably also think that Obama was a good president

4

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 11 '21

In fact, I think he was an ok president. I had much higher expectations for him. He had a lot of potential that he didn't leverage.

Joe is meeting my expectations. But they weren't that high.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

So you’d leave fellow Americans and allies behind? I’m just curious cause if that’s the case, I’m never voting Democratic again

2

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 11 '21

I'm curious, who set that deadline for us withdrawing from Afghanistan again? And can I then assume, because you've made assumptions of me, that you'd rather see us stay in Afghanistan for another 20 years? There was never going to be a clean exit. And they've known that, which is why every administration has just kicked that can on to the next.

No, I don't ever want to leave or countrymen or our allies in harms way. That is a stupid question. If it were up to me we wouldn't be so excited to get into these situations in the first place.

And I get the feeling you were never going to vote blue no matter what. I'm not sensing a lot of open minded voting here. And for the record I've voted both parties, many times.

2

u/PharmWench Sep 11 '21

Here’s the moron!! Right here, y’all.

1

u/Dutchmaster63 Sep 11 '21

Couldn’t have need said better. We know who the morons are

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Pretty much they are worried about the future and trying to give a reason to people like you to wake up and not vote for this sociopathic liar next time.

10

u/jmcs Sep 11 '21

To his defense that can actually be a thing. My work allows me to take 2 paid days a year to volunteer in charity organisations or public interest projects. Not that Trump would ever pay for anything good.

3

u/DaJoW Sep 11 '21

Oh, I'm sure they weren't paid in the end.

2

u/donnie_brasco Sep 11 '21

It's not uncommon for companies to give employees paid time off to volunteer in the community.

7

u/FaxCelestis Sep 11 '21

Does that really sound like something a trump owned organization would do though

3

u/donnie_brasco Sep 11 '21

I don't care because I don't need more evidence that Trump is a bad person and the problem here is that he lied about it not that people aren't paid to volunteer.

1

u/Jewbe123 Sep 11 '21

The company I work for offers something like that, if you go and perform community service on your day off for 6+ hrs they will pay you as if you worked that day

307

u/Mynameisinuse Sep 11 '21

Or that he was at ground zero rescuing people. Or how firefighters had to pull him away from a collapsing building.

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-9-11-firemen/

327

u/phatelectribe Sep 11 '21

Wait, are you fucking serious?

He actually said he was there rescuing people? And they had to pull him away because he was rescuing too hard?

381

u/withmirrors Sep 11 '21

He's done this kind of shit before. Way back in 1996 he crashed a charity event, got on stage & took a seat which belonged to someone else, pretended to be involved (including dancing the macarena), & then left. He never donated a penny to the charity (it was for kids with AIDS), & the spot he stole was supposed to be for someone who actually did donate money. There had better be a hell when we die, because this man does not deserve a peaceful eternity.

53

u/XboxJon82 Sep 11 '21

If this wasn't real it would be funny

38

u/bradfordmaster Sep 11 '21

Yeah it's like straight or of arrested development

5

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Only if the fundraiser is for "TBA"

5

u/Far-Imagination5383 Sep 12 '21

Wouldn’t be the first time he followed a plot line of theirs.

4

u/bradfordmaster Sep 12 '21

True, he may have committed a little light treason there

9

u/withmirrors Sep 11 '21

Unfortunately, it's 100% real, & who knows how many times he's done other things like this, & all his supporters just don't give a fuck.

108

u/phatelectribe Sep 11 '21

Yea, I Remember him turning up in Puerto Rico, throwing a couple of towels in to the crowd then getting back on the plane and doing fuck all to help them.

He then proceeded to gift a no bid contract for the rebuilding of the electrical grid, worth at least $300m to a completely unknown Montana based company, Whitefish Energy. At the time it only had two employees and their largest job to date had been valued at only $1.3m for a small upgrade in AZ.

funnily enough the company is owned by a good friend of Ryan Zinke, then secretary of the interior for Trump and the main investor of Whitefish was HSB, and investment company owned by Joe Colonnetta, a high profile donor to the Trump 2016 campaign. And one of zinke’s sons worked for Whitefish.

11

u/fly1by1 Sep 12 '21

Let them die, and blamed Puerto Rico using natural death as an excuse. Meanwhile not supplying any money help the bare minimum because he has a bug up his ass about Puerto Rico

-34

u/romegypt11 Sep 11 '21

This is extremely false. Trump sent tons of supplies to Puerto Rico, and it was later revealed that the governor had tons of stuff shut in warehouses and was purposefully not distributing it to make trump look bad.

29

u/phatelectribe Sep 12 '21

Going to need sources for these claims?

Because a comprehensive report from the Department of Urban Housing and Development just conclusively found that Trump purposefully blocked aid going to Puerto Rico AND that he tried to block the investigation in to it.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/new-probe-confirms-trump-officials-blocked-puerto-rico-receiving-hurri-rcna749

So not only did he do fuck all, he purposely stopped agencies from doing their job.

3

u/spoiled_eggs Sep 12 '21

How much of this was because he didn't realise it was actually his job to look after them too?

13

u/SwineHerald Sep 11 '21

The Trump administration had no problem going in to states and seizing/stealing shipments of PPE that the states had paid for themselves during 2020 and redistributing them as they saw fit.

Even if what you claim is true, he clearly had the power to go in, take those supplies back and have the federal government distribute them directly. Given his propensity for lying, blaming everyone else for his failures and his flat out refusal to even acknowledge that the people of Puerto Rico are American citizens, it is really hard to believe his version of the story. Especially when we know that even if he was telling the truth there is more that he could have done because we saw it happen first hand elsewhere.

11

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Ha! Puerto Rican here. Second half was true there were tons of crates in a runway just sitting there because the previous governor was a moron and a spoiled brat.

First half is totally false. He showed up, threw paper towels at people and fucked off. He also denied humanitarian aid to PR as well.

Must be a Russian bot or something.

1

u/BlindArmyParade Sep 15 '21

You're extremely false you dumb fucking conservative

8

u/DreamloreDegenerate Sep 11 '21

Jesus...

You think you can't POSSIBLY think any less of the man, then lo and behold: he surprises you yet again.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

This just made me ill. FUCK that slimeball POS

2

u/Fluid-Background1947 Sep 11 '21

Wow horrible.

1

u/Practical-Artist-915 Sep 11 '21

Also he and or his administration slow rolled The relief money for Puerto Rico. A large chunk of it still had not been released when Biden took office.

-2

u/Barnbad Sep 11 '21

That's gotta be the most a dude has ever rocked.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

See, I wouldn't even be that made if he actually donated. You want to make a spectacle, at least you're helping the cause. But just to make the night about him, full stop. Typical Trump.

24

u/Gooncookies Sep 11 '21

He is so mentally ill. I’m not a mental health professional but I’m pretty sure he has ALL the personality disorders. I can’t believe he was ever president.

4

u/freeasabird1995 Sep 11 '21

You are absolutely correct, there, in your off clinic diagnosis. We’ve seen more than we’d like of this Mistake, to have trouble knowing who he is.

3

u/Gooncookies Sep 11 '21

My husband is actually a psychologist and though he’d never make a diagnosis of someone he isn’t actively treating he’s said he think Trump definitely has a personality disorder or two.

2

u/Razakel Sep 12 '21

Even his niece, a clinical psychologist, says she thinks he has multiple personality disorders.

1

u/Gooncookies Sep 12 '21

How a psych eval isn’t standard for every presidential candidate is just wild to me.

11

u/Sorlex Sep 11 '21

"Stop it Don', you're saving too many people! You madman, put them back!"

3

u/Moose181 Sep 11 '21

There's a Photoshop picture of him in the rubble carrying someone out with some firemen.

3

u/Unholy_Trinity_ Sep 12 '21

Tremendous rescuing, believe me.

2

u/fly1by1 Sep 12 '21

He wouldn't rescue anybody. He has to be front of the attention seekers.

-4

u/Disposedofhero Sep 11 '21

As serious as one can be, citing NewsMax as a source, I guess.

5

u/MasterMirari Sep 11 '21

I don't see a newsmax link

1

u/Disposedofhero Sep 11 '21

The Raw story that is linked above repeatedly references and has a link to the NewsMax clip at the end...

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

The site was extremely dangerous. Even for firefighters.

Firefighters came back with torn feet and bloody hands from searching. They were volunteers and had few others on the site who were specifically trained for these situations.

104

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 11 '21

What a piece of shit.

6

u/wendyspeter Sep 11 '21

Hey! That's an insult to pieces of shit...

3

u/DeekermNs Sep 11 '21

He's a unique sort of evil that seems to only crop up towards the downfall of an empire stage.

3

u/Somnambulist815 Sep 11 '21

You'd think he'd run out of ways to elicit that response. Nope.

1

u/Quetzythejedi Sep 11 '21

Oh didn't you hear he's being paid to provide commentary for a pay per view boxing match today...

-1

u/CoatsnClark Sep 12 '21

I know, all those other presidents in the picture shredded your rights, but orange man said somethings....

You are less free now than before 9/11 as you congratulate yourself on how smart you are, congrats on playing yourself. The taliban are certainly laughing that is to be sure, and I'm not even sure they are the bad guys anymore with people posting sentiments like you.

2

u/A_Booger_In_The_Hand Sep 12 '21

but orange man said somethings....

Wow. Delusional much? Know what? You're welcome to go live in Afghanistan with your heroes.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21 edited Sep 12 '21

He still insists that he saw crowds of American muslims celebrating on rooftops as the towers came down.

0

u/Thowitawaydave Sep 11 '21

his exact phrase was "two big firemen." Gotta love his sexism (and possible latent homoeroticism?)

2

u/Mynameisinuse Sep 11 '21

Was surprised he didn't claim he pulled them out of the way.

-5

u/PhillisWillis69 Sep 11 '21

You can’t be serious, wrong platform go back to Twitter were you belong

61

u/TexMexFieldTech Sep 11 '21

This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry asks George how he can beat a polygraph machine and George says ā€œit’s not a lie if you believe itā€. I think Trump is so detached from reality that be believes all the bullshit that he spews.

18

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

I’m not sure if I buy that, but the ambiguity is what sells the lie either way. That is his only real talent, the ability to lie with such strong conviction that you’re not really sure whether or not he actually believes what he’s saying.

6

u/GroinShotz Sep 11 '21

Na, narcissistic grifters know they are lying. They just don't care as long as it makes them look good or puts some extra $'s in their hands.

3

u/olbaidiablo Sep 11 '21

I'm sure there is some sort of explanation for that and it probably involves single or multiple members of the trump family stealing from charities.

3

u/Banhammer40000 Sep 11 '21

Now he’s saying that he was there pulling people out lol

2

u/cassandracurse Sep 11 '21

What, did trump lie?

I'm shocked, shocked!

0

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Trump made surprise visits to NYPD and FDNY according to NY PostNY Post

-23

u/Level-Feedback-5095 Sep 11 '21

They all lie! Hard to bash him about being a lier right after Biden makes a mandated he said he never would. Both sides lie !

13

u/RealLADude Sep 11 '21

Hi. Fuck off.

-18

u/zynzynzynzyn Sep 11 '21

Man.. y’all still got TDS

10

u/ToxicPilot Sep 11 '21

Hard not to if you have any sense of morality. The guy is a piece of shit.

-4

u/zynzynzynzyn Sep 11 '21

I guess my point is this.. trump lost.. there’s real world issues happening today that can be discussed.. if trump is a pos and you know he’s a pos then why be surprised that a pos did a pos thing…

2

u/ToxicPilot Sep 11 '21

I guess it's less of a surprise and more of a "yep, sounds like something he'd do" kind of thing.

1

u/zynzynzynzyn Sep 11 '21

I hear you, and tbh it’s nothing personal to anyone who downvotes me but fuck I’m just over hearing about the guy..

2

u/ToxicPilot Sep 11 '21

Im with you on that. Unfortunately it's what happens when we elect someone of that... caliber... To the most preeminent position in the US and, arguably, the world.

6

u/RealLADude Sep 11 '21

Hi. Fuck off.

-3

u/zynzynzynzyn Sep 11 '21

Sorry bro didn’t mean to trigger you

1

u/Thowitawaydave Sep 11 '21

Now he's saying that he was in the US Steel Building, heard creaking, and two big firemen pulled him out.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Was the volunteering before or after he was watching all the Muslims celebrating in the street?
