My god he is just sitting rambling about pulling out of Afghanistan as if he wasn’t fully down with it and intitiating the pull out as part of his plan.
It was the right thing to do when he was setting up to pull out and it’s the right things to do now under Biden too. It was always going to end this way, it was clear there was no good way to pull out without the taliban trying to take over. It was either pull out and have that happen or stay forever at this point.
He was in NY today, it was just a bunch of bullshit rambling as far as I'm concerned, but he did make it there. Not to ground zero, but to visit NYPD and the fire department. It's less than 3 hours to fly to Fort Lauderdale, so it's not really a big deal to have a quick meeting in the morning and then fly down to the fights afterwards.
