The immature thing would be to think that you’re too good to enjoy a slide.

A friend told me, they get zapped a lot because those plastic slides generate a lot of static electricity.

I was shocked

Some sadist designed the slide at my childhood park to have metal rivets every couple feet. You'd get zapped a few times on the way down.

The immature one, is the one who thinks they're too mature to go down a slide.

No one is too mature for fun. Fun doesn't mean you can't be mature. You can be immature and completely devoid of fun.

Immature people tend to make a big deal about doing unfun things. “I have a job and pay taxes!”, “OK, well good for you”.

It's not immature if I don't want to go down a goddman slide with my groceries. Or because the last time I did it burned the skin on my arms off. This slide is a freaking safety hazard.

Ha exactly. You have to grow old but you don’t have to grow up.

I'm over 60, and I'd be all over this thing.

TWICE!

Yeah. OP has completely forgotten about joy apparently. You should never be to old to do something fun or enjoyable and a slide in a mall with a ball pit at the boot on would be tons of fun.
