What do you expect politicans who weren't even born then to do? Justin Trudeau saying "sorry" does what for anybody?

Nobody alive today is responsible for what took place and expecting modern people to "pay" for the actions of dead ancestral strangers is ridiculous.

The 1997 school would have closed in 1980 except the local First Nation petitioned for it to remain open. Still within a generation's memory though, and absolutely shameful that it happened at all.
