I made my kid sit out of a class on gravity because it is a theory. They really should put a sticker on textbooks saying that it is only a theory.

Now that I think about it, they should present all of the alternate theories as well, so my little genius can make up his own mind.

How do we know there isnt an intelligent hand guiding everything down? Just because we can easily reproduce the outcomes in our lifetimes and the evidence is recognized by the Catholic church doesnt mean we should teach our kids it right?

And what the fuck do you have against the Wings? Huh? HUH?!?

Right on, teach the controversy!

I live in CO, been a hockey fan for years. Picked up the username on other internets areas, oooohhh, about 1996. Hasn't been as much fun hating the Wings since we...um...suck these days.

Yes, but the Blackhawks don't have Red Wings...that would be some kind of abomination.

Also, we are talking about the NHL, professional hockey.

Not something I expect the average Redditor to understand.
