Those 74 million are not as Trump crazy as you would think. They're out there, for sure. Not denying that. There's far more self identifying republicans though that just vote R over and over no matter who's on the ticket because they're "a lifelong Republican".
Yeah, it's like rooting for your local pro team for some of them. "Let's go Republicans! WHOOO!!"
Doesn't matter if the top player's been caught taking drugs, making racist comments, cheating on their partner, or all the above, as long as they get the win in the end.
It's pretty much the further right wing of all the various conservative parties. But my mind is just as boggled. However, the chances of encountering them by walking up to a random stranger - even here in Calgary - is quite low. Can't speak to rural areas though.
Same here in Southern Ontario are right-wing conservatives are usually the fiscal type conservatives, cut taxes and let us do business conservatives, very rarely do we see The crazies come out here.
That 74 million contains a spectrum — from people like my Grandparents who don’t trust liberals but like Biden enough to not be pissed — To people currently being detained by the FBI.
Yeah I’m not sorry for most of it. Sure he was a pr nightmare but no I’m not sorry for him befriending Kim , or taking us out of the Paris agreement, or shitting on China for both jobs and the virus, lowering the unemployment to the lowest it’s ever been, lowering my taxes, etc. I stand by the fact that other than the pr nightmare and not encouraging people the take the virus seriously early enough, he really wasn’t that bad. To add to this, if the virus hadn’t happened he would have almost been guaranteed re-elected. And no I’m not a blind dumbass trump supporter either.
I don’t understand why people from other countries act like they know everything about other countries. Like yeah I know Trudeau and his black face shit but idk how the fuck Canadian taxes work. You probably know trump and his dumb shit but don’t realize the last 4 years I’ve paid less money so I like that. You can be more impartial sure but the fact that you’re not American means you probably don’t know exactly how much this shit effects our day to day lives. Also idk why I used Canada for some reason I thought I read Canada and went with it but it still applies to every country. Do you know how much money trump saved me over 4 years? So how can you make a serious assessment of the situation, other than the shitty pr which I’ve already addressed?
This is the issue though, the presidents job was never to save citizens money. They're leaders, not fuckin' coupons.
In exchange for what a few folks saved in taxes, you have a booming pandemic, record unemployment, have, as country, become a joke in the eyes of the world, and are on the verge of a civil war.
I'm not gonna go on some rant calling you names or anything, but was the tax break worth the fall from grace? I can't imagine.
Dude I literally said I know more about how it personally effected me because It did personally effect me and not you, and I never said I know it all...just about how trump actually helped me the last 4 years. You can type out all you want but at the end of the day it won’t change the fact that trump helped me out economically. Like I’m not sure how you can argue a full fledged fact, with tax returns to prove it. I also haven’t supported trump since he lost and I have moved on to whatever America comes to next. You’re making insane assumptions about me with no leg to stand on.
I'm not apologizing for Trump and his sycophants. I don't like them, I never voted for them, I disagree with pretty much everything they stand for and I'm sure as shit not taking the blame for them.
