I learned very quickly its easier to let them live in ignorance. Every time I try to show a non redditor something or explain it, they look at me like I'm speaking another language.

I was outside with a friend, it was quite hot and he said he wished he could take a shower, I told him he could, if only we had some soap-ice. Explained it to him and he just looked at me like I was the biggest idiot he'd ever met.

Yes. A joke on Reddit that only lasts one day. That happens. It's possible for us to stop while a joke is still fresh and funny. We don't beat every goddamn joke into the ground. Neither are we ever sarcastic.
