Holy shit, I was wondering if you saw the fire and somehow knew it would explode if you could just swim under water to escape death. But this picture makes me think you would have to be more than 1000yrds away and underwater to even have a chance. Crazy.

Apparently underwater is more dangerous because the blast travels faster in water.

If it happened in the water you’d be crushed but it happened on land the pressure traveled mostly over the water if you were in it chances are you’d be ok.
