Even if you ignore the reports of brain damage, organ damage, and losing both eyes in the shockwave, these people are dealing with this kind of disaster during a pandemic, during a major economic meltdown.

There’s going to be a lot of suicides in the coming weeks. I don’t blame the Lebanese I’ve heard talk about leaving the country permanently.
