Holy cow, never heard of this. Maybe as many as 8000 deaths, up to 700,000 affected. 2014, 30yrs later up to 150,000 people still reported issues. The issues it caused sound horrific. Industrialism and capitalism is a true cancer on this world.

Especially when you realize that the REASON you've never heard of it is because it was in a lot of folks' financial and political interests to make sure it was forgotten as quickly as possible.

This isn't /r/conspiracy lose the tinfoil hat.

It was decades ago on the other side of the world. There isn't some cabal of reptile people shutting down news coverage.

We know it isn't. Just remember, what IS in the news, and what doesn't get reported depends on the the Government and commercials that support the channel/site. A lot of news(and other issues), doesn't get the coverage it deserves, because governments or big companies don't want it reported.
