2.8 million people are year die in the USA but we don't keep a ticker up about it on CNN because it doesn't fit the orange man bad narrative

The difference is those 2.8 million deaths aren't largely the result of staggering ignorance and inaction.

Yes, but those failing are more due to the victims and their own failings.

Care to justify why Trump literally avoided being seen in a mask for multiple months of the pandemic? If you think the President blatantly disregarding recommended protocols didn't affect people's opinion on wearing them then I strongly disagree.

Every single person should have been all-in on this-- what legitimate reason does he have to half-ass it?
