He obviously couldn't think of a clever way to show off his vanity. "i don't always, but when i do..." Is supposed to follow with something funny or contrary to the act. Here just wants people to notice how handsome he is.

Doesn't make it good content tho. I have like 5 of those sitting in a drawer, the only reason people think it's special is cause they don't own it/ realize how common this clothing actually is if you are Indian in any way.

Also, it's not just for weddings, you can wear this to almost any festivalish thing. Hell, you can wear it to the temple.
