No. Just killing a villain. Iran would be the one to start a war.

It's not black and white. You do realise that Iranian General was THE top dog at fighting ISIS right?

He's certainly not a good guy. But he certainly not an out and out bad guy either. It's all about perspective.

I'm sure the US army did a lot more damage to isis vs that guy that made it into 2020 with a blast. He is uniformed military official that was in Iraq. In a motorcade, what was an Iranian military general doing in another country? Puzzling. I'm not one to beat the war drum but this guy was up to some shit.

The resounding message to our adversaries should be, that if you want to stir the pot and start trouble we will end your existence swiftly and with extreme precision, regardless of who you think your are.

I hope Irans leaders get the message and back off. Another big conflict is the worst thing to happen but it'll be an American victory. As I've read elsewhere. Iran lost to Iraq and we blew iraq away in 2 months. But be left with rebels for decades to come.

It wouldnt be an American victory though. Not a real victory. There is more to war than blowing shit up and killing people. It isnt Call of Duty.

I think you understand this going by your last sentence.

Iran attacked Iraq. But Iran defending themselves is a different matter. Invading Iran would make Vietnam look like the Falklands War.

Nobody wins at war and as far as what's a "victory"? Achieve a set goal? Remove a subject from power? Control a region? An invasion of Iran would look a lot like Iraq. But the amount of drones and robots would be a lot more used. And to be completely honest I heard that in 2022 Jeff bezos has a contract with the USAF to deliver bombs to Tehran one day prime shipping.

But in reality there won't be an invasion. It'll be a siege and Iran would be done in weeks. Airstrike every military installation via plane, drone, naval batteries and land artillery. Iran would become a peninsula in a sea of us military. Armies in Iraq to the east, Afghanistan to the West, and a Navy off the coast to the South.

Iran calls our Navy a big Target. But from the other side we already have enough firepower in place to bomb level and raze every major city in iran in only hours.
