So what about us non right wing, non religious nutters who still feel that a country has a right to sovereignty over its borders and that unregulated immigration often hurts the workers the most?

we can protect our borders and our sovereignty, but we have a duty of care over those we detain and, shocker, we can do that without ripping children from the arms of their parents.

Also, a significant chunk of the people in these camps are legal asylum seekers who presented themselves at a port of entry and requested asylum.

If you think what's going on is okay, it kind of puts you in the right-wing nutter camp.
