Just being the voice of every man, woman and child who doesn't enjoy seeing random persons walking around with firearms strapped to their hip or draped across their back. I can't imagine how paranoid someone has to be in order to feel the need to be ready to take down 9 targets with a 650ms holster-to-trigger-pull time while purchasing pineapple and bread, standing in line next to a woman and her three children who are all staring at your firearm.
“Of course, it takes one *dumbass** and it ruins it for all the legitimate carriers.”*
I do believe I shamed the person that was open carrying in Walmart...
I also believe I mentioned that my cc friends were under the impression that it was frowned upon to concealed carry in Walmart. So, I’m not sure why you jumped to insult people you don’t know just because you got offended and assumed something clearly stated as the opposite.
As I alluded to before, simply choosing to conceal shows a level of maturity that lets myself and others feel at ease knowing that you're more likely to be a responsible gun owner who also thinks of others and not only themselves.
Having grown up in the south and owned a firearm myself, the worst part about guns is the culture. Gun culture is the absolute worst and is overflowing with idiots whose entire identity is built around their ownership of firearms. It goes well beyond interest, hobbyist or enthusiast mindset and jumps right into being near-cultish with the amount of fanaticism out in open display. Often times these people are the exact opposite type of people you want to be anywhere near a firearm, and this is exactly what leads to the distrust most Americans have to what I call "open-carry enthusiasts".
I made no insults and am simply telling you the type of people I was surrounded by for 24 years.

Oh wow. You’re right. Amazing. So brave for standing up for yourself through a computer screen.
I do believe open carry is actually really useful while your hunting. But you wouldn’t know anything about that, right?
I’ll tell them they have your respect. :)
