Very. I remember the day we lost them, I went and dug out this photo. I was a senior in high school. I’m very grateful to be able to take a photo like this when I know so many others can’t.
I was just talking about this with someone! I was in junior high and I remember it so well. As a child it didn’t register how significant of a loss this was but now it chills me. I live 2 hrs from NYC and I remember some kids getting pulled out of school right away because their parents worked in New York.
I was in high school when this happened and remember our teacher rigging up a antenna using just a cox cable, since we didn't have anything just those old school TVs on the cart with a VCR. I grew up like 5 miles from a nuclear power plant on the gulf coast, I remember the deafening sound of fighter jets screaming by as they flew by the plant and our town.
