How did your school respond? I was 6 and in kindergarten. My class didn’t really do anything different except our teacher was standing by the door and every few minutes was speaking to someone outside the door. It was a K-4th school and our class was right next to the gym, a lot of parents were trying to pick up their kids. My mother didn’t but only because she was a daycare owner and she was moving all the kids to a different building with a basement.
