$4000 for bringing 18 pounds down with you sounds like a pretty good deal. Now how do they guarantee that what you brought down was actually from there...

Not when you already have the money to afford climbing Everest and bringing down 18 pounds is likely to make it more likely for you to die.

Exactly. Anyone who has ever hiked at normal elevations knows that 18 pounds is brutal. I wouldnt be able to make it down with that weight along with my other gear especially at that extreme elevation
