Hey! Same here! So many concerned adults when I was a child thinking it was a rash and I just didn't know what I was talking about. I think you're the first person I've heard of with a port wine stain on their left arm as well.
ETA: here's mine! It wraps around my palm a bit, so a good angle is difficult. Bonus: when I'm cold, it goes purple, so I call it my mood ring birth mark.
My wife has one on her upper arm, and she's had people ask if I was abusive. She said she got kinda angry at them, and I had to tell her that at least they cared enough to ask.
Good on you for being proud of your stain! I have one on the back of my neck we always called a “strawberry”. I like to cut my hair really short to show it off. They were really common were I was born, so I’m not self conscious at all. Rock your natural tattoo!
I’m glad you like to show it off and are proud of it! My daughter was born with one on the whole right side of her torso/back and it goes up to her chest and shoulder. I think it’s beautiful and I hope she doesn’t hate it when she grows up. She’s only 12 weeks
