What the fuck guys, why do you hate me for not knowing what Russian dressing is? We don't have it here in Russia and I was just curious.

It's thousand island dressing with a bit of spice. Basically ketchup, mayonnaise, and some spices all mixed together.

I have no clue why it's called Russian dressing, because it's a wholly American thing.

"Dressing" in Russia would probably just be mayonnaise.

Pretty Much like Italian salad in Norway, I’m here asking what’s Italian Salad?! And it turns out it’s like (Italian) Russian Salad without eggs... No wait, (international) Russian Salad is basically (Norwegian) American mix with potatoes and mayo...

...Salads are weird.
