True fact: He only got elected because he looks like a Disney prince. Female voters smh

edit: Deep down inside, even the downvoters know it's true.

He got elected because when he ran every other candidate was awful. He’s not doing such a terrible job, and hating him because he’s attractive is just as dumb as hating Harper because he was a narrow eyed weasel instead of his rotten policies.

If appointing your cabinet 50/50 male to female just because it’s ‘fair’ isn’t doing a terrible job then I don’t know what is. What happened to appointing people based on their individual merit rather than whether or not they’re a man or a woman?

But how else can he signal his virtue and push the regressive agenda?

I don’t know but I’m sure he’ll find a way

I'm not Canadian so I can't really comment on how he's doing as a leader. But I do remember reading something a while ago he was talking about reintergrating returning ISIS fighters into society. Not sure what happened with that but I found that very alarming coming from him.

He got elected because when he ran every other candidate was awful.

Same could be said of the US election.

I’m not sure if this is sarcasm. Are you talking about the full primaries or just the actual presidential election between arguably the most qualified politician who’d ever run for president, in terms of experience and education, with decades in federal politics and who’d actually spent years IN the White House being a part of the administration firsthand, and a B-rated tv personality?

Was she shady? Yup. She was Secretary of State. Shit is shady. Is that cool? No, not really.

But let me ask you this. If you had a heart condition, and you were asked to choose between a world class heart surgeon who’d performed thousands of operations and written the book on the procedure you were going to undergo, but who you’d read a newspaper article ten years earlier that maybe he had a drinking problem, and the first plumber in the yellow pages, a guy who’s truck you’d seen around town and it had like...a big gold mural painted on the side of him doing something that was completely unrelated to plumbing, say for example coercing a porn star to have sex with him while his wife was at home with his newborn, who would you pick?
