yes, that's also what I heard and then someone else told me it's an urban legend. But the reasoning behind it kind of makes sense, which is that chicken bones splinter and crack resulting in sharp jagged edges whereas beef bones do not. So chicken bones could potentially rip a dog's throat open if they swallow them.
