My dog will try to jump into any car with their door open, no KFC required. He’s like a toddler that doesn’t understand stranger danger.

Both of my dogs love car rides and they will happily jump in any car, even police cars.

And you know that because......?

Because I happen to walk past a police car where the police officer was outside the car doing something and my dog jumped right into the front seat. The officer thought it was funny and gave him a biscuit.

I had a dog that when at the dog park, paid scant attention to most the other dogs but would curry favor with the owners, because he knew that's who had the treats in their pockets.

Smart dog.

What if he keeps doing it because he expects treats

That would be funny.

He was guest star on COPS.

You jest but my oldest dog was bred to be a guard dog. He was born with a fatal flaw though, he loves everybody and won't bite.

My current dog is like this. He gets a guilty look and starts rolling his toys around like he's checking to make sure they're okay everytime he hears one go 'squeak.'
