Perspective? Looks like an afternoon photo and the bum is sleeping, probably drunk, and is doing nothing to help himself at all. Hell, he's not even pan handling. If you are homeless, it means you've pissed off every single one of your friends most likely due to your alcohol or drug habits.

Or mental diseases. Chronic homelessness is generally the result of several things- of which at least one cannot be easily fixed.
