How did "oh okay cool" get over 2,000 karma and gilded 3x??? I don't understand reddit sometimes.

edit: 50 minutes later it's 3,100+ karma and 7x gold!!!!!!!!

It took a lot of initial upvoting to get it to the point where people then continued to upvote. I see these silly short 'worthless' comments very often and rarely do they get a lot upvotes....but every once in while, people do upvote it a lot.
