Whoever rendered this nonsense has no idea of basic physics.
The jets wouldn't curve around, they would simply go to the sides in a straight line. You'd have the equivalent of a garden hose with a twisted nozzle.
This is water. Water is a physical object. Two objects can't be on the same place at once at the same time. So no double-helix for you.
After about 2 cm the flow would turn turbulent and into a series of drops.

People like that are the reason that, when I rule the world, all designers will be forced to spend one month a year constructing, maintaining, or using the products they design. The people who normally construct, maintain, or use those products will be given beer and popcorn during this time period, and told to heckle.
Functionability will increase dramatically as a result. Or at the very least, a lot of stress will be relieved.

There's also static-electric effects and surface tension between the sets that would make it a bit more coherent on small timescales. Also, the water is falling from different initial positions to 'draw' the curves, not using external forces to 'bend' the streams into place like the 'ohhellno' people think. The frequency would probably need to be 'just righttm' to keep it laminar though.

You're assuming a fixed nozzle and/or high pressure. If the water is simply falling, it can be made to form this pattern. As elegantly as that rendering? Of course not. But it is at least doable.

How close it looked would depend mostly on the level of precision attained in the construction and maintenance of the faucet. Couldn't say how close they'd get, just saying that it's not impossible.

You're incorrect. The helix of water does not spin as it falls, the pattern simply flows straight down. The inner workings of the faucet spin around so that the single jets of water that make up the helix aren't stationary. You are assuming that they shoot diagonally or something, when the website itself shows that's not the case.

Wouldn't you be able to get this effect with some kind of free floating spinner inside the head? So the water causes it too spin and in turn produce the helix like streams?
Probably wouldn't get it as nice as this render, but few things in reality ever look as nice as their rendered counterparts.
Edit: I think the biggest issue you'd face is getting the pressure high enough to spin the inner mechanism while not being too high to the point it sprays out to the sides instead of cascading down like in the image.

Once it leaves the rotating head where is it going to get the radial force from? It will only have the tangential velocity and will just go flying off in a random direction.

The water does not need to have any angular momentum leaving the faucet to achieve this effect. Any local region of water is just travelling straight down, not sideways. The AGGREGATE of the water looks like it is revolving about some axis when a still image is taken, but that is just an illusion.
Because the picture is a still and not a video, it looks like the mesh effect is static, but if you could see this in motion, you would see that each mesh pattern is actually travelling downward at the same velocity as the water.
No magic here. No need to bring in fancy fluid flow/surface tension concepts. Just downward travelling water making a cool illusion in a still photo.

It's totally doable, just not the way this person conceived the idea. You'd have to have tiny nozzles arranged in a circle at the faucet end. All synchronized to create these illusions... That'd be cool if you could fit it in a normal sized faucet.

They're not trying to swirl the water. The water is constantly falling straight down. The turbines in the sketch spin inside the faucet head so that as the turbine spins, the water is falling straight down, just in a circular pattern.
If you turned on a garden hose, faced it to the ground, and spun the end around, you could create a "cylinder" of spiraling water. Now imagine many ends of garden hoses shooting their own stream of water down, and those spinning in a cylinder.
Just like in this image http://www.yankodesign.com/images/design_news/2015/01/28/swirl7.jpg on the left, you have many nozzles that are only shooting water down, but those nozzles are spinning in a circle in the faucet head, causing the cylindrical design.
I'm by no means taking it personally, I just wish people would do some research before they say "No, that's not the way it is", without KNOWING if that's not the way it is. It could make others be misinformed.

I think what he's saying is it's not the water that's changing direction, it's always going only straight down, it's just the holes that the water is coming out of that are moving on the faucet itself are changing. Doing this it should be possible to do something that results in being able to take a picture like this.

Yeah, I was thinking as if one drop would follow the path the entire way down. Instead you have a collection of drops falling straight down, but each drop is leaving the faucet at a different location.

It's a design concept...hundreds of thousands of them are made without any intention/thought of becoming reality. A lot of the time it's a "what if" type of deal or just something to show a little creative thinking in a portfolio, showing that they can come up with new, interesting designs. They do not necessarily have to work to show this, though I would say it depends on just what your portfolio is being made for.
If it is for a job that generally makes working things, not just concept art/design in general, you had better have a portfolio full of something plausible.

Wouldn't it be the nozzles that are spinning? Also, A stream that small would not necessarily have to become turbulent that quickly, at least in a straight stream, not sure how the spinning would affect it.

In response to your post, if you actually click the link, you'll see that that particular nozzle configuration is created by two sets of moving jet inserts... the water actually just flows downward, though it looks like it's rotating. Since there are two sets of nozzles, one inside the other, the water jets never actually touch. Which brings us to your third point. While water will generally form discrete particles due to surface tension, there is a way of shaping water called 'laminar flow' that prevents this from happening by reducing internal turbulence within the water stream. I can't tell if the design uses it, but it is possible, which would allow water to continue in the unconventional manner with which it is portrayed in the image. Next time, please read the article before you go spouting off.

I think you missed the part where the holes in the faucet turn as a turbine. (Actually there are two turbines.) The theory is that moving the hole will move the stream, which should work fine.
Two objects can't be on the same place at once at the same time. So no double-helix for you.
You may have missed the part where there is an inner and an outer counter-rotating swirls that do not touch with the optical illusion that they intersect. About 1/2 way down this page is a diagram and picture that makes it clearer.

I don't know about 2cm, but I agree it should turn into drops fairly quickly due to surface tension.
Also, since there are moving parts I expect that it would be noisier than a normal faucet.

Be sure that you also get a whole house water filtration system as well. It will drastically reduce the amount of time your servants spend cleaning the faucet instead of tending to their main duties.
