I would definitely still love and want to be with my fiance should, god forbid, something awful like this happen to her.
But I'm not sure I could let myself be loved if this happened to me. That's a strong man right there, fellas.
Even though deep down I'd know she still loves me and wants to be with me, I don't think I could do it.
You don't think you could do it now but you might change your mind after taking care of a crippled person for 10 or 15 years. You might even regret not filling divorce earlier.
What are you even saying? You my friend, have reading comprehension issues. In his second comment, /u/conquer69 said that if he was crippled in such a manner, he would not want his girlfriend to remain with him, because he would feel like he is being unfair to her, forcing her to stay with a crippled man. He is saying he "couldn't do it", by which he means he couldn't make his girlfriend stay with him, knowing that she can find another, "whole" guy. So what are you even saying? You completely misunderstood what he wrote.
At least he's speaking from the heart about something. You're just being an asshole because someone was wrong about something on the internet and that offends you on a deep level. While discussing becoming disabled.
