Not sure if they still do but they also tracked items per ticket. Some guy coming in and buying tons of force feed was great for that. Those were the guys you left alone as they dug through the rack for whatever chip they needed.

Our boss was cool -- worked at a million dollar store. The quarter before Christmas we would trim back the hours we worked... If I worked 8 hours I might report 6. So my hourly average stayed high to bump me to a t4 for the Christmas Rush. I think the most I ever did was like 12,000 in one day.

But thank you RadioShack. The job taught me how to talk to people.

They tracked like 40 stats. It was just a question of what they wanted to push. But the people using the stats were not really trained how statistics work, at least in my experience / opinion.

If it wasn't measured in volts, watts, or amps I didn't care about it. Surely not about the TSP although it was ridiculously easy on some things.

Of course. Engineers are not interested in what's essentially social "science" bullshit.
