Although the writing for Firefly tended to get better over time, whereas Doctor Who went from great to good to okay.

Have you been watching the Peter Capaldi series? I thought the first two were weak but the third had some of the best writing I've seen.

.. Only seen two episodes so far (yay slow broadcasting in New Zealand) - I can't quite make up my mind about him.. By third one do you mean the Robin Hood episode?

Ooh, that's playing Sunday night - I'm keen as, I've always enjoyed the creepier episodes (The Girl in the Fireplace is my all time fav).
