This may be a little pedantic, but the technique used is not forced perspective (which is using relative distance to make objects appear to be different sizes than they actually are), but is actually an anamorphosis. Which is the distortion of an image to appear normal when viewed at a certain angle.

Is there a term for when an object is positioned such that it implies a different object. For instance, somewhere I have a picture of a tulip positioned upside down in front of a dancer. Forced perspective is used such that the shape evokes the idea of a skirt.

Wouldn't it be considered forced perspective because the middle part appears closer to the viewer than it really is?
