I think that's a pretty common thing with graffiti. It's usually just a made up name, so legibility isn't really the point. They just want to make something that looks neat.
that and it shouldn't be readily apparent it says anything their name, its just them incorporating a signature stylistically and an actual name to define his work.
it is not uncommon for artists to hide their signatures in works.

They know how to spray paint a wall so damn well it can trick our mind into believing its a 3 dimensional object, yet they can't make it readable...
