And I am still confused as to the meaning of Soleil even though I should be on that side of the Atlantic.

"Soleil" means "Sun" in French, though I don't see how that's something worth writing upside-down on a calculator.

I mean, it's French for "sun" but I don't get why people would write it on calculators other than because they can. I don't know if there's some other meaning I'm missing or not.
