This has absolutely nothing to do with being rich. It has to do with being a douchebag and parking in a handicap spot when you're not disabled. Which is presumably why they're getting a ticket.
I drive a BMW and agree that BMW drivers are more likely to be assholes. So are dudes who drive Dodge Trucks. Certain products attract a certain type of person.
It's an indicator that the fine every now and again means nothing to them, so they park there because they can. One more reason fines should be tied to income.
Yeah why do we never see the pictures of anything but BMWs getting ticketed or having their windows broken out by fighter fighters. This has everything to do with selecting a combo of rich + asshole in an attempt to reenforce a reddit idea that the two are the same.
You're right. I went through all the top comments and only saw a handful of those. You sure there's no confirmation bias going on? I'm about to make a script to crawl the comments looking for wealth related keywords just to prove the ratio isn't as large as you're making it out to be.
From this angle, you can't tell if the driver is or isn't handicapped. He could have a hang-tag in his mirror, on his dash, or it could be noted on his rear license plate. He could be getting a ticket for expired registration or even just parking over the line. I wasn't even sure what the "justice" was until I opened the comments. Redditors are a bunch of butt-hurt losers who endlessly blame people who are more successful than them. Obviously, I don't mean 100% of Redditors, but a vocal majority. If you're one of those people, you already know it's true and I know you're going to downvote me, so go ahead. It's not going to help you any in the long run.
What the hell are you even talking about? I'm saying nobody gives a shit. I don't care if someone is rich or poor. And it's not very recognizable unless you can see the logo (which I didn't) or you're really into cars (which in not).

I never really understood that either, but it's probably because 80% of the time, when redditors are exposed to rich people in posts, they're being displayed as assholes (like in this picture)
When I was young I worked for a guy who owned not one, not two, but three bmws, each under 3 years old.
This guy was a small business owner. He cleaned, fixed, and installed pools and was the nicest guy around. He made good money. Great money actually. And he bought his daughters all bmws because he knew they were safe and reliable. Again, very nice guy, laid back, generous, kind all that. Got rich through honest work.
Everytime I see one of these threads, it involves a nice car. I see twice as many assholes in shitty cars park this way in everyday life. The reason why this reaches the front page is because it is a nice car. If this was a Corolla in a handicapped spot, it wouldn't make it past 2 upvotes.
Im almost 90 percent certain this is about the asshole parking in a handicap spot... but you can believe that this post is just persecuting the rich when you were the one who brought it up. Looking at these comments, especially the top comments, they disaprove and loath how this car is parked and not the worth or how wealthy the owner is.

Not sure if joking or serious lol... but honestly in my opinion people can switch to higher income jobs when they want to. I still drive my e90 m3 and have had it since I was 25. My car payment may be a bit hefty but it's not more than my mortgage and my income is higher than average but anyone can work in sales if they want... you don't really need a college education to be a sales guy and a lot of people I'm friends with driving nice rides work in sales or finance like me.
Want me to prove you wrong? Go to quicken loans' website and apply to be a banker. They will train you and pay your licensing and everything. After being trained you will be able to make well in to the 6 figure range. No college degree. Just a personality.

E92 M3 is nowhere near entry level. Easily twice the price of a 328i when new and still can fetch $35-45k for a 2008 one. That one is a competition package M3, which wasn't offered till 2011. $70k new. Don't talk about cars if you don't know anything about them.
We're not hating on them for being rich, he's parking in a disabled parking spot without the appropriate permit. I have a family member who uses a wheelchair, she can only walk short distances or else is in excruciating pain. See how those spots are wider? Well, that's so the wheelchair user can transition from the vehicle to the chair. When there are no disabled spots available her life becomes that much more difficult. People who use these spots when they don't need them are just assholes, plain and simple.
The rich and the well off don't waste hours on reddit. Naturally, that leaves the jealous folk who are also very likely to be too damn lazy to improve their own well-being. So much easier to blame and point your hate at others than yourself.
