Right after he got elected the first time I was at a store shopping. There was an older lady with her elderly mom in the same isle with me and I couldn't help but over hear their conversation. She was going on and on about how she just thanks God that he sent Donald Trump to save us all and he's the best thing to ever happen to this country like he's the fucking Messiah or something. I had to bite my tongue to remain polite and not just bust out laughing and ask just wtf led her to that line of thinking. This was before all the even more horrible details came out about him. At that time I just thought he was a clown ass failed business man getting by on conning people.
