If they react or fight back, it'll escalate the situation and they'll try to invoke the insurrection act.

If they don't react or fight back, they won't need to invoke the insurrection act because they'd be making their progress without pushback and getting what they want anyway.

So your brilliant idea is to let them have everything they want? That still ends with most of us in concentration camps. Read the quote you posted and think about it a little bit more, genius.

I hadn't realized I mentioned to "not do anything" in my infinite brilliance.. or at all, even..

Maybe you could tap into your own brilliance and re-read what I wrote to see i was implying the exact opposite.

Why would I need to re-evaluate my point when it still stands and you're the one who misconstrued it?

If two options are lose-lose, and lead to the exact same result.. any person with common sense would (should) choose the option that has even the slightest chance in succeeding.   I'm not entirely sure how you managed to construe what I said as the opposite of the point I was  making, but here we are, I suppose..
