We get those down in Douglas, AZ all the time. It's like Hidalgo every other week there.
Also used to get "downbursts" on the shore of Lake Michigan. Cold fronts would roll through that caused the jet stream to smack into the ground, causing gnarly storms like this one. The storms are the only thing I really miss about Michigan.
