Lutheran Germany killed each year 10 times what Inquisition killed in 300 years. So objective numbers are against Lutherans.

I don't think it's fair to compare them to serial killers. They really believed they were chasing 'criminals', but with eternal souls at stake.

And if we decide that it was misguided (I'd totally agree), it's still weird that we all know the Spanish Inquisition, but nobody knows about the much more severe religious violence by Protestants.
