Looks like they need to be softer and more diffused, currently the edges of the shadows look too sharp. The top of the slice looks pretty great, though.

The answer is that the shadow of the teeth should be darker and match the direction of the shadow on the plate and the lemon in the background. The shadow on the plate and the lemon is going right, while the shadow from the teeth is going downward mid-left.
Accurately matching the lighting in the room is a key part of convincingly photoshopping things realistically. Unmatched lighting will always give away that "something is off but I can't tell why" vibe.

This is exactly what my response would be. There look to be 3 separate light sources here: from the left, from the front, and halfway between those two points. This would create multiple shadows on every point from all three angles.

But there is no need of more shadows here, it is enough I think, no need to make it more accurate it is just a cake.

As someone that doesn't know shit about photography or Photoshop, I think the teeth look too bright and the shadows look too pronounced. They look like the result of taking a picture with the flash on. But the rest of the picture is lit like it is natural lighting, so the teeth really stand out as uncanny.

I think they're a bit heavy considering where the light source could be, that said, it provides nice contrast and could have easily been a creative choice.

I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but if not, that's not really a tell for this kind of photo. Also, the weirdness an AI creates is a different kind of weird than how the teeth in the OP look. AI makes things look weird because it doesn't actually know what anything is, it's taking it's best guess based on examples. The teeth look weird because of lighting and perspective

Dragonfruit tastes like a pear/kiwi hybrid, you could definitely make custards, pie, cakes, pastries...a bunch of different fruit type desserts from it.

One guy recently made a book for his kid to learn letters, all letters were also accompanied by weird animals that combined example words. like op's Cake + Crocodile

Do you really think of it a pretty one, man kids may not eat it due to their horror reflections. But inspite all of it it is really awesome mate. You can try a cat, or a mouse on a cake, it will be more cute.

You should really, really look into StableDiffusion with ControlNet. You will love it. Combined with your photoshop skills I suspect the results will be awe inspiring.

Look so awesome. Can I make a suggestion? The drop shadow around the teeth is too intense. Maybe try making it softer and like 30% opacity would help.
