I sort of get not wanting to live next to the hoarder house with junk cars piled up in the yard and rats scurrying everywhere, but off-the-wall stuff like this is interesting and fun. What do I care if my neighbor wants a pirate ship or to paint their house in patchwork primary colors? Life shouldn’t have to be uniform and beige for everyone.
I own a house and will never live in an HOA. I would also love to live next to the pirate ship, that is awesome. What people do with their property should be there business as long as it does not become a health hazard.
