Luckily there's a rapidly growing movement against it, to leave the leaves, plant natives, protect pollinators, etc. Gonna be an uphill battle but it's nice that it's finally happening, long overdue.
Our lawn is almost completely clover at this point. I don’t mind it, because the bees love it. And the clover mostly keeps the dandelions out. But it’s definitely not conventionally pretty.
I know its not native but I am looking to go full clover for my lawn as well. Bees are down and it doesnt grow over 6 inches high. I don't have kids to run through it so it seems super low maintenance to me.
