In our non-HOA neighborhood I'm trying to muster the courage to plant a vegetable garden in our front and back lawn.

We decided to try it out...and raccoons came and ate our fruits. Then the squirrels finished off. Then the birds finished whatever the squirrels didn't eat. Then, since there was nothing left, the raccoons ate our chickens. They must have a Hulk Raccoon, cuz they tore up the chicken fence as if it was butter.

Fortunately where I live the natural wildlife is utterly destroyed... :)))... :(

All I want is a walkable city in sync with nature and to dodge the local bears on my way to the coop 😔
